Sony has announced the November 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup: Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered and Monster Train 2. According to the official PlayStation Blog announcement dated October 28, the three titles are scheduled to be available from Tuesday, November 3, through Monday, November 30.
This is the monthly games selection, not a list of the entire PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. Here is what distinguishes the three experiences and what subscribers should verify before claiming them.
Dead Island 2: an action-RPG trip to HELL-A
Dead Island 2 is the action-heavy selection. Set in a mutated version of Los Angeles, it features encounters with zombies across recognizable urban locations, quests and surviving characters. The official announcement lists it for PS5 and PS4.
Players looking for momentum and combat may be drawn to this entry, but it is a very different proposition from the other two titles in the month. Check the game’s content information if horror imagery or violent combat is not what you want to play.
Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered: a classic adventure collection
Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered represents the exploration and puzzle-solving side of the lineup. Rather than promising a brand-new Lara Croft story, this collection revisits older adventures in a remastered format. That makes it an appealing option for players interested in the series’ history or in design sensibilities from an earlier generation.
Remastered classics may retain mechanics and pacing that differ from contemporary action adventures. New players should view that as useful context rather than an automatic advantage or drawback.
Monster Train 2: strategic runs instead of reflex combat
Monster Train 2 fills the strategy slot with a deckbuilding approach. Where Dead Island 2 centers on direct action and Tomb Raider emphasizes exploration, this game is oriented around selecting cards, developing a plan and adapting across runs.
The lineup therefore covers three distinct play styles. That variety is more informative than declaring one universal winner before subscribers have played them.
When are the November games available?
Sony states that all three Monthly Games are available to claim from November 3 until November 30, 2026. This article is being prepared November 1, so the new selection has been announced but the monthly claim window has not started.
Once the window opens, subscribers should use their PlayStation account to locate each listed game and confirm the edition they are claiming. Subscription requirements and ongoing access rules apply. Availability can vary by region, so check the local PlayStation Store if a title does not appear as expected.
Which game should you try first?
Choose Dead Island 2 if you want zombie action, Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered if you are curious about classic adventures, or Monster Train 2 if you prefer deliberate strategy. These are genre-based suggestions rather than evaluations based on our testing.
